Visitors from Asia will soon have easier access to Seychelles when a new air link becomes possible between the islands and South Korea.
The two countries signed an agreement last month which allows for up to seven flights a week between the two countries.
The Chief Executive of the Seychelles Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA), Gilbert Faure, said the new air access will open up the destination to Asia and link Seychelles to countries such as China, which the Seychelles Tourism Board is presently developing as a secondary market.
The agreement follows President James Michel’s official visit to South Korea in October last year, when he pushed for more cooperation between the two countries in trade and tourism.
