SAA and Air Tanzania will cancel their code-share arrangements for all but one route next month.
Effective December 21, SAA will no longer code-share on Air Tanzania's Johannesburg/Kilimanjaro and Johannesburg/Zanzibar routes, while Air Tanzania will cancel its code-share for SAA's Johannesburg/Durban and Johannesburg/Cape Town routes. The only route the airlines will continue to code-share on is Johannesburg/Dar Es Salaam.
SAA said all passengers ticketed on the SA code for Air Tanzania's Johannesburg/Kilimanjaro and Johannesburg/Zanzibar routes before November 2 for travel on or after March 30, 2008 will be re-accommodated on SAA operated flights from Johannesburg to Dar Es Salaam, as well as on the Dar Es Salaam to Kilimanjaro and the Dar Es Salaam to Zanzibar sectors. |
